This Privacy Policy describes how MoodDot ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects information when you use the MoodDot mobile application (the "App").

• Mood entries: mood level (1–5), optional notes and timestamps.
• Profile: optional information such as display name.
• Preferences: notification settings and language preferences.

All mood data is stored locally on your device unless optional features explicitly state otherwise.

• Device information: device model, operating system version and locale.
• Usage data: anonymous usage patterns and performance data.

• Advertising identifiers: Google AdMob may collect identifiers and related signals.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide core functionality: store and display mood entries locally.
• Send optional reminders to help maintain consistency.
• Improve the app using anonymous analytics and crash reports.
• Personalize advertising for non-premium users.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Local storage: data is stored locally using Hive database.
• Optional backups: if enabled, data may be stored externally with your consent.
• Security: reasonable measures are applied to protect your data.

4. Third-Party Services

• Google AdMob: used to display ads. policies.google.com/privacy
• Analytics services: may collect anonymized performance data.

5. Permissions

• Notifications: used to send optional reminders.

You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

MoodDot is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Rights

• Access & control: you can view, edit or delete your entries at any time.
• Data deletion: uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
• Advertising choices: adjust ad preferences in your device settings.

8. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in other countries due to third-party services.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated in the app.
